Encore Dance Show 2019
INFORMATION FOR ALL DANCE CLASSES!
SHOW: FRIDAY 10thMAY 5PM
As with last year, our Ballet (except Tots 10am class) and our Hiphop and Street Dance classes will perform in our spectacular DANCE SHOW on Friday May 10that 5pm in Mill Theatre Dundrum.
The show will last for approximately one hour with no interval & students should arrive 1 hour before show time.
THEATRE REHEARSAL FOR DANCE CLASSES
The dance classes only have 1 rehearsal in the Mill Theatre, so this is very important for all students in order to be familiar with stage positioning.
VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE ON DANCE SHOW TICKETS!!
This year due to the growth in numbers during the term at all our dance classes, we have to initially restrict the number of tickets sold to each student’s family. This is to guarantee that every child has someone in the audience at the show, which we are sure everyone will agree is the most important factor! So this year, the Mill Theatre will have a list of the names of each child in our dance classes, and there is an allocation of 2 tickets PER STUDENTavailable. (For example, if your family has 3 students attending dance classes, there are 2 tickets per student, so you have an allocation of 6 tickets.)
If you will not be using some of your allocated tickets please let the Mill Theatre Box Office know at the time of booking, so that they can allocate them elsewhere. Equally, if you know you will require more than your allocated tickets, please book extremely earlyand ask to be put on the ticket waiting list. This should mean that as some tickets are returned, everyone should get the tickets they require!

Drop off and Pick up from rehearsals:
- Drop off is in theBasementarea of The Mill Theatre (down two flights of stairs).
- Pick up from each rehearsal is from the back of the Auditorium (down one flight of stairs).
- Please ensure that every Encore student is wearing either their Encore T-shirt and dance shoes,or their full ballet uniform INCLUDING BALLET SHOES at the rehearsal!
- Please ensure that your child arrives on time and is collected promptly after the rehearsal as the schedule is tight and we want to get maximum rehearsal time on stage.
- No other shoes or bags to be brought to Rehearsals or Shows, just a drink of water in a disposable plastic bottle or container with the child’s name on it if required. Please label all items of clothing, especially cardigans etc. that may be removed.
Please note:
During rehearsals and shows no parent is permitted back stage unless accompanied by an Encore! staff member for the safety of all students involved.
